Abstract: The Norwegian Region will continue to be a demanding arena for external actors, defined by a secure environment and predictable legal frameworks. This study aims to develop a deeper understanding of the Norwegian policies; external and internal factors affecting the potential for political and economic instability/stability in the region; and other drivers affecting the general working environment for actors in the oil and gas sector.
